Users can also choose to sort by Products & Services, Companies Mentioned, and Publication Name. Sets of companies, usually sorted by largest to smallest in
revenue, now can also be sorted alphabetically by company name, by geographic location, or by SIC code.  The Digest feature helps novices by grouping results in logical folders emphasizing current and relevant materials on a subject. Searchers can enter a company, industry, or name
and receive a company profile, full-text industry articles, news and key events, newsletter reports, Investext analyst reports for publicly traded companies, and direct link to SEC EDGAR filings for public companies, as well as other Webbased information through Margin Links.

KnowledgeCite Library - a unified collection of scholarly indexes, abstracts, and articles, crossing all disciplines and searchable through a single interface.  It uses an altavista search engine.  From the relevance-ranked list of search results you see links to all of the databases of the entire library. Subject terms are prominently shown-and allow the user to launch a search directly on that subject term.  Every word is indexed by multiple criteria, which work together to eliminate duplicate entries and create context and links between databases. The resulting hypertext library follows the Library of Congress Subject Headings.  It can also link with other library services like OPACs, interlibrary loan, document delivery and E-text.

KnowledgeCite's Relevance Ranking: Six Criteria:  1. Term Location: Terms located in the subject field get a higher score; 2. Term Proximity: Documents where search terms are closer together get higher scores than documents where the words are farther apart; 3. Document Date: Documents that are newer (based on publication year) get a higher score; 4. Term Completeness: Documents that contain all or most of the query words get a higher score than documents that have only some of the query words; 5. Term Frequency: Documents with multiple instances of search terms get higher scores than documents with single occurrences; 6. Term weight: Stopwords receive lesser weight, and words that occur very infrequently in the database are given greater emphasis in the final score. [Source]
